BlackjackThe Game?Although many of you may be Blackjack aficionados, very few are aware why the game came to be known as Blackjack. Those who are familiar with the game are aware that if a player has a Jack of Spades and an Ace of Spades in the first two cards, he was entitled to some extra payments. The game derived its name from the Jack of Spades which is black in color. In Blackjack, the aim of a player is to get 21 points or as close to it to win. Getting more than 21 points means the player goes bust. The cards in Blackjack have their face value, barring the Jack, Queen and the King that are worth 10 points each and the Ace can either be used as 1 or 11 depending on the choice of the player. Following Rules?Although Blackjack, like most other casino games, is basically a game of luck, many would offer you surefire winning tips and strategies. If you are taken in by these tall claims, it is possible that you will lose more money than you win. However, this does not mean that there is no advice that can help you to play Blackjack successfully. Like in any other casino game, you will be successful in Blackjack too if you care to follow a few simple rules. I am sure that if you practice the rules mentioned below, there is no reason why you should not be a successful Blackjack player. Counting Cards?Although most casinos are against card counting and even ?bar? players if caught doing so, I don?t consider this to be an unscrupulous activity. Counting cards helps a player to assess and calculate the percentage of high and low cards being dealt in a Blackjack game at a particular table and formulate his own strategy. For the initiator, high cards mean cards from ten to Kings, while cards from two to five are called low cards. Although the proportion of these cards is same in every deck, they may vary after the dealer has put all the cards on the table. ?Tournament Tactics? The rules, however, change when you play a multiplayer Blackjack tournament. In this case learning to handle your money will help you to master the system. While playing in a tournament, a player should remember that he is not only betting against the house, but also against other players. Hence, it is important that you find secure tactics and stick to it for the player with the maximum chips will be the winner of any Blackjack tournament. So you not only need to watch your hand as well as other players? cards, but also know when you should bet and when to bluff. ?Win & Quit?Remember, most casino games are manipulated in such a manner that the casinos always have an advantage over the players. In most cases, even if a player is lucky enough to win a few hands, the long-term advantage always remains with the casinos. And so one of the best ways to beat the casinos play until you are ahead, leave, and not play that game again. Or else, the more you play, there are chances that you will lose more and the casino will take back all that you have earned and even more. ?Wrapping Up?Finally, Blackjack as well as video poker are the two casino games that enable a player to use his skills and increase his chances of winning. In both the games one can apply the strategy of mathematics to lower the advantage of the dealer by keeping a tab on the percentage of low cards. Since no other casino game offers this facility, Blackjack enables a player to tip a game in his favor simply by following the cards dealt on the table. So, go ahead and become a winning player by reducing the house advantage.

Playing Blackjack is fairly easy to learn. But learning to play the game well takes education and playing practice. The Blackjack is all about the total of 21 when adding up the cards dealt to you and the same applys for the dealer. The cards equal face value from 2 through nine. Ten and face cards are each a total of ten and the aces are either one or eleven. The premise of the game is to get as close as you can to 21 without going over or busting your hand. The dealer must hit (take a card) any hand that totals less than 17. If the dealer has a soft 17, which is six and an ace, the dealer must hit the hand. Any hand that totals over 17 the dealer will stand pat on that hand. The player has no such rules. The player can stand on any total they wish to stop at.

The game begins with each player electing an amount to bet on the hand up to the table limit. The deal begins with each of the players being dealt two face up cards and the dealer being dealt one face down (the hole card) and one face up. These cards are dealt in order. Each player adds up their card total and then makes a decision about what they will do when it is their go to hit the hand. If the dealer is dealt a blackjack, the hand stops and the dealer wins all hands that are not a blackjack. A player with a blackjack hand would tie the dealer and the bet would stay up. Blackjack is an ace and a card with a value of ten.

The most major rule of blackjack is to let the dealer bust and keep your hand in play. The only time you would hit a bustable hand is when the dealer is showing a seven or higher card. If you have between sixteen and twelve you should hit the hand if the dealer has a seven or better showing. Any time the dealer has a bust card showing the player should not hit their hand. The exception is if you have a total of ten or eleven, you should double your bet if the dealer is showing a break card. If the dealers face up card could be part of a good hand, it is a decision based on how your luck has been going. There is a good deal extra to this game. A new player would be wise to read a book on blackjack or go on the Internet and read further about the play of blackjack and the various other rules.

Except for the fact that it’s played in a virtual online setting, online blackjack is essentially the same game that was played in France during the reign of the Sun King, Louis the 14th. Blackjack online offers all the challenge and excitement of real, brick-and-mortar casino play right in the comfort of your own home – and blackjack games online offer you the option of wagering real money. However, there are gaming websites offering online blackjack that can simply be played for the fun of it or for practice as well.

Once It Was Twenty-One

If you are familiar with blackjack games online or off, you understand that the point of the game is to get cards that add up to 21 – or as close as you can get to it without exceeding that number. The contest is between you and the house – as is the case in real casinos, success at blackjack games online requires that you get closer to 21 than the house in order to win.

This in fact was the original name – “Twenty-one,” or vignt-et-une. The current name for online blackjack was applied once the game had made its way to the U. S. during the 19th century. Twenty-one was slow to catch on among early riverboat and saloon gamblers initially, so those who ran the games began offering a 10 to 1 payout when a player’s hand included a “black jack,” i. e. the Jack of Spades or the Jack of Clubs. This label is still used for referring to online blackjack, even though the 10 to 1 payout is no longer offered.

How to Play Black Jack Online

If you know how to play blackjack in real life, you already know how to play blackjack online. You’ll also find some exotic – and even racy – variations of the game, such as strip blackjack, in which virtual models ranging from cartoonish to very realistic bare all for the winning player. Other types of blackjack games online include variations such as Spanish 2i, in which the 10 cards are not used, and 21st Century – also known as Vegas Style – and “Double Exposure. ” Each of these forms of online blackjack offers unique challenges and require slightly different skills.

This in fact is one of the reasons that blackjack games online are so popular – unlike many casino games, which relay completely on the element of chance, online blackjack players can learn and develop skills and strategies that will give them an “edge” over the house.

But don’t take our word for it – try online blackjack for yourself today and find out what everyone is talking about!

One card counting system is the KO card counting system or Knock Out system. If you count down the deck of cards, you do not end up with a zero. The KO system is great for those who have trouble with the HI-LO system and anyone who has trouble running any count conversion.

Within a day, a myth can grow. A legend can sprout up out of nothing and morph into something larger than life. Soon, the myth is so big that it can come back to where it started. This is how the myths of blackjack started. Somewhere, in the past, there must have been a winner who won so much, so quickly. Since then, players from all over are ready to win the big bucks right away. This is possible, but does not happen as often as most gamblers believe.
While counting cards and playing often can definitely increase your chances of winning the money that legends are made of, you must always be aware of the reality that odds are in the favor of the house. It is slightly more in your favor when you are playing online blackjack. The truth is you have better odds the more you play. The story that made the myth grow may very well be true. The reality of that myth may also be that it was dumb luck. The best way to play up your chances is to play often and with a good sense of reality and entertainment. Blackjack online is a great way to gain the practice and skills that you need in order to do well in the traditional, livelier, some would say, more advanced blackjack game. The blackjack online may offer you some advantages, one being the odds are slightly even more in your favor. While this may be enticing to some, you have to be prepared in knowing that while the odds are more in your favor, you have no idea how many other players are out there playing along with you. This is something that can only strengthen your online casino game skills. This way, when you do take a trip to a traditional casino, you are ready to play right along with the best blackjack players.
The myths and legends that surround blackjack also get more word of mouth or attention because it does deal with traditional blackjack games. Those who see the big win in the casino like waitresses, house managers, other players, and dealers, all see the win and are able to spread the word, building a legend as they speak. Online blackjack, on the other hand, only deals with you alone on your PC. When you win, the only person who you can brag to on the spot is your bank. This is definitely not the worse thing! This is very good for you if you don’t crave some sort of attention for your win. If you only want money and not a legend, your best bet is to play online blackjack.
When you are ready to play online blackjack, you can sign up to an online casino and get the information you need to play right. Learn how to play online blackjack safely and have fun. When you are ready, you can enjoy creating your own blackjacklegend!

Blackjack is a gambling game that originated in France. The game has been transported from France to other parts of the world. It has witnessed great changes over time. These changes have brought about many differences in the way in which the game is played all over the world.
There were changes that even brought about revolution in the manner in which the game was played, such as playing online. This is now the most popular way to enjoy playing blackjack, as players can play anywhere at any time.
Online Revolution
Now it is possible to play blackjack online. You might wonder how to play the game online if you are new to this aspect of blackjack. But there are experts who have studied the game and will give you the necessary instructions before or even whilst playing.
There are online guides which can be referred to to know more about the game. There are numerous software programs that players can purchase to help with decisions, strategy, counting and tracking.
Many experienced players have wonderful experiences in playing blackjack both offline and online. Along with the facility to play blackjack online, there are latest updates, news and other information regarding the game posted in many web sites. . . . . . . . such as this one! You will learn how to play blackjack using effective methods like card counting and card tracking. To play blackjack online, it is compulsory to know the basic rules of the game. The game is all about receiving cards to make it a total count of 21 and it should not be over that. To know the card count, it is essential to understand the value of each card. The Kings, Queens and Jacks have a value of 10. Aces can bear a count of 1 or 11 depending on the situation, while all other cards have 9 points.
Variety of Games
Often there will be more different variants of blackjack available online than in land base casinos. For example many sites will have up to 5 or 6 different variants of the game. This is due to the fact that online casinos do not have to train “real” people in the fine details, rules and variants of the game.
A popular style of blackjack that is becoming increasingly popular is Hold-em Blackjack, which is a blend of traditional blackjack and poker. With this type of blackjack you are playing against other players instead of a dealer, and you can even bluff with your hand!
Another aspect popular with online play is multi table play, where you can play unlimited games of blackjack at once, on more than one table. This is for the more experienced player and concentration is the key here, as making multiple decisions quickly is optimal.
What you have to take notice of while playing online blackjack is that you should not bust, which means the your two card total should not cross 21. If both the player and the dealer get the same total, the game has no winner in the hand. The game starts when the dealer gives two cards each to all players. The players can decide whether they want to hit stay, double or split.
The game proceeds and when the dealer has more than 21 total in his hand, all the players are declared to win. If on the other hand, the players have a lower total than the dealer in his hand (or bust), the dealer is considered to be the winner.
Play for Free
When you are playing blackjack online you can make two choices. Either you can play for free of cost or you can play for money. Different casinos available online will give you the chance to play blackjack as per your convenience. There are several casinos that are leading in the online blackjack playing market.
Be sure to check out the revues of the online casinos that we have shown on the blackjacksnap website, all of these online casinos cater for the discerning blackjack player from beginner to expert. Many of them offer multiple types and variants of blackjack for you to play
Or if you would like to play for free, go to the free blackjack games section on this website, where you can choose one of six blackjack games to play at your leisure. . . . . . . . . and yes its FREE !

In order to develop the proper black jack strategy to consistently beat the house, you need to study and make sure you have a 100% understanding of the blackjack rules. I don’t mean basic blackjack rules, I mean knowing when to stand, hit, double down, etc. . . there are some great blackjack charts out there that really give you a good strategy to consistently win. Even though you have this type of strategy to consistently win, it’s going to take more than that. Developing a proper blackjack strategy and using your black jack strategy sheet, you should have no problem bringing down the house! You can use some of the winning black jack strategies out there to win consistently online and in person. In person you have the option to play on blackjack table felt which is extremely nice. There is nothing like playing in person, even though it isn’t quite as profitable as playing online. Playing online blackjack allows you to see many more blackjack hands an hour. You can play 5 casinos at one time! Imagine developing an extremely profitable strategy that consistently wins you $50. 00 or more an hour. That is $104,000 a year! Don’t believe blackjack can make you that much a year? Oh it can. . . I am living proof. When I started out playing blackjack I was losing horribly. I tried card counting strategies and card counting systems that just caused me to lose. I focused too much on counting cards rather than spending time truly learning every aspect of the game. One of the first mistakes many players make is they jump right into a blackjack game online or in person without even knowing and understanding how to properly play. Blackjack is more difficult than knowing 21 is the winning hand. It involves skill, a little bit of luck, and a strategy. Once you master these 3 things you should have no problem killing the house. Right now with no blackjack basic strategy guide, the house has roughly a 5% edge on you each hand. That is 55% house, 50% you. The reason being, the house gets to act last. The house has plenty of chances to win even before they see another card. The worst thing you can do is BUST. You automatically lose! I have been consistently winning at blackjack for decades all thanks to a system I invented. It has proven to win time and time again with little to know effort. With a blackjack strategy chart and my system, you are guaranteed to win at blackjack. The house will never know what hit them. I have won so much a casino tried to accuse me of cheating! No one could believe how well my system works, until they try it themselves. In whatever blackjack system you try and use to make profit playing blackjack, I wish you the best of luck!

How To Play Blackjack Online. The first and main tip on playing online blackjack is to learn the rules. If you don’t know the rules of blackjack the game may become boring pretty fast. But if you know what’s behind it, online blackjack will be a great way to spend time and have some fun on the web. The cards in online blackjack have different suits and faces values. Picture cards such as King, Queen, and Jack have a ten count. Ace can be either one or eleven, depending on the player’s choice. An Ace with the value of 11 is called ?soft hand? and the Ace with the value of one – ?hard hand?. The total sum of card values in a hand is the hand total. The main objective of online blackjack is to have a hand total higher than that of the dealer’s but without exceeding the twenty-one count. The dealer’s object is to make you exceed the twenty-one count, that will make you lose your whole bet amount to the casino. Every online blackjack game starts when players place their bets. After that the dealer deals two cards to each player and himself. Each player has his cards face up, while the dealer has one face up and the other ? face down. The face down card is called a ?hole card?. At this point a players should decide whether he hits, stands, splits, surrenders or doubles. Hit is when you ask the dealer for an additional card. By standing you remain with the cards you’ve been dealt initially. By splitting you break two cards of the same kind. When you split it is required that you place the exact amount of your bet on the new hand created by the split. Surrender is not available on all online blackjack sites. When you double, your bet is increased twofold and you can take another card. Blackjack Bonuses When playing online blackjack or enjoying the game at a real casino table, don’t forget about using comps and bonuses offered by the casino. These casino offers will make it much more pleasurable and in some cases profitable to play blackjack both online and offline. What are Blackjack Bonuses and Comps? When you play blackjack at a casino for some time, you are likely to be offered with certain rewards, called bonuses and comps. In land-based casinos such bonuses come in form of free meals, drinks, shows or rooms. The casino ?rates? all the players at the table and decides who can get a bonus. Bonuses and comps don’t have anything to do with your playing skills, and are based only at the time you’re plating at this particular casino and the amount you’ve spent. When playing online blackjack you can earn bonuses too. They may vary from additional amount to spend at a particular online casino for playing or real merchandise you can get when playing regularly at a casino site. What Blackjack Bonuses are Used For? Blackjack bonuses and comps are free items given by the casino to stimulate the player for more gambling. It is also a way to gain loyal players that will be willing to play more at a particular casino. By providing free items, casinos in a way return a portion of the amount the player has spent at the table, making him feel important and welcome. In case your aim at playing blackjack is to win big, you have to follow your strategy and stay focused. For good players casinos also offer discounts and free items. Online blackjack can also offer some bonuses if you play really good and are a consistent player at a particular casino.

The World Of Online Blackjack With the advent of the Internet we have faced numerous changes in the way of doing things. Everything you can think of was probably affected by the world wide web, and its constant development offers numerous new perspectives on things that were common in the past. The same goes for gambling. Just do a fast search online and you will get hundreds of online casinos where you can play virtually any casino game! With so many games to choose from, there are still some favorites that receive the most hits and are enjoyed by thousands of players online. And if taking names, there is nothing like online blackjack. Online blackjack has seen a very fast development and is now one of the most popular online gambling games, with its popularity constantly increasing. When playing online blackjack you get exactly the same playing experience and winning possibilities as in a real world casino, only that you can enjoy playing it 24/7 right at your home, regardless of where you live. Compared to the necessity of getting to a legal gambling site, finding a place to stay, and converting money to playing chips, online blackjack gives much more comfort to the player than land-based casinos. All you have to do is enter an online casino website, register and start gambling. Another advantage of online casinos is that you can find free online blackjack games on the web. This is a great way to learn playing blackjack or practice your skills without spending any money. In some cases online casinos will offer you bonuses in forms of virtual money that you can use when playing online blackjack and actually win! Imagine that in a land-based casino. Some History The original game of blackjack was created in the 17th, in France and was initially called “vingt-et-un” (twenty-one in French). Other names of blackjack were 21, pontoon, and California aces. The original French version of blackjack required the player to draw a jack of spades followed by an ace of spades in order to win. This is where the term blackjack originates from, describing the essence of the game. The French revolution has imported blackjack to the United States where it quickly became highly popular in casinos and gambling houses. Because blackjack involved both luck and skills to win the game was very popular among professional gamblers and serious players. But with the 1910 ban on gambling, the game was outlawed and forced to go underground. During this period blackjack was associated with mobsters and criminals. The seemingly simple rules of blackjack have made it very popular and lead to numerous winning strategies and techniques to be developed. There were numerous books written about it over the years and many movies used blackjack as the basis for their plot. Today, blackjack is found in casinos all over the world and with the commercialization of the Internet numerous online blackjack sites offer playing the game right at your computer.

Blackjack is one of the most popularly played games in the field of casino banking worldwide. Also popular as Twenty-one and Pontoon, the blend of chance and skillfulness of players owe much to its popularity. Card counting is one of the major characteristic of this casino game. However, it is to remember that the British card game Black Jack is totally different from the casino version of Blackjack. It has been found that Twenty-one is the predecessor of Blackjack. USA was the first to experience Twenty-one. Bonus payouts were arranged there to get players for the game to make it popularize. A 10-to-1 payout was one of such bonuses. In that case, a black Jack and the ace of spades used to be in the player?s hand. ?Blackjack? used to indicate that hand of the player. The game can be played with 1 to 8 common decks of cards. 10 points are allotted to all face cards. Cards ranging from 2 to 10 are calculated in accordance with their face value. An ace is the highest hand in blackjack is and blackjack refers to any 10-point card. The player can win if more points are in his hand than the same in the dealer?s without going over 21 which is a break or a bust and it automatically leads the player to lose. The player in this game loses if both the dealer and the player bust. In case the dealer has an ace as the up card, the players will be allowed by him to insure their hands against a Blackjack. In case the dealer has a blackjack, the insurance bet in blackjack pays 2:1. The dealer will get a chance to check the hole card after having received a chance to refuse or accept insurance. There are various Black jack strategies involved in the game. ?Stand?, ?Hand?, ?Double?, ?Split? and ?Surrender? are some popular options the game is played with if the dealer does not have a blackjack for sure. Basic Black Jack Strategy is highly applicable for 4 or more decks in which case the dealer hits on soft 17. Applying black jack strategies also depend on card counting, Composition-dependent strategy and Shuffle tracking. It is always advised not to take any insurance if you have a blackjack. Also, players of this game must avoid some bad strategies which are: mimic the dealer, never bust, and always assume the dealer with a ten in the hole. Every player should use the optimal blackjack strategy to avoid losses at the blackjack odds table. In present age, online blackjack has become an emerging trend. Wonderful jackpots offered by online casinos are one of the vital reasons behind the popularity of online blackjack. You will get well payout on winning an online blackjack. Presence of lower betting minimums than in the traditional casinos is an advantage in online blackjack casino game. Some useful Blackjack tips that will be of great help while playing blackjack online are ?choosing appropriate online casino?, ?bankroll management?, and ?using practice mode?.

From it’s inception in 2003, the Blackjack Hall of Fame has inducted a total of 11 members for their outstanding accomplishments, both at the tables and away from them.

Edward O. Thorp, one of the original Blackjack Hall of Fame members, was a mathematician and scholar, known as the Father of Card Counting by professional players and the general populous alike. His Ten Count system was first introduced to the world in his 1962 book, “Beat the Dealer”, which was the very first winning blackjack system ever published, not to mention that it was also the first mathematician publication to beat any casino-style gambling game. Every card counting system available today is a derivative of Thorp’s Ten Count system.

Ken Uston, an original inductee, passed away in 1987, years before the Blackjack Hall of Fame was even a thought. Uston brought the secrets of the big card counting teams mainstream with his book, “The Big Player”, creating a commotion throughout the gaming industry. After his landmark publication, card counting teams began to generate across the globe.

The inventor of blackjacks’ “team play” is one of the original members of the Hall of Fame- Al Francesca. Francesca was the driving force and mastermind behind Ken Uston and his book, “The Big Player”.

Blackjack researchers have been using the mathematical methods of Peter Griffin, as he was the first to break down any card counting system into two points-the Betting Correlation (BC) and the Playing Efficiency (PE). His book, “The Theory of Blackjack”, along with his many other mathematical papers made him an easy pick for the original Blackjack Hall of Fame lineup.

Stanford Wong, often referred to as the “Godfather of Blackjack”, was an original inductee into the Hall of Fame. The term “wonging” is related to his proven techniques of card counting across the globe. Wong was one of the first to beat the continuous shuffle machines of Las Vegas before they were removed and updated.

Yet another original member of the Blackjack Hall of Fame, Arnold Snyder, was inducted for first to publish what is now common knowledge amongst professional blackjack players; the importance of penetration. Although he has written many publications on the topic of blackjack, Snyder refrains from publishing much of what he has learned to allow current players the opportunities to play and win.

While still in college, Tommy Hyland began playing professional blackjack, and has been for over 25 years. He is the leading man in the longest running and most successful blackjack team in the entire world. Adored by his peers and despised by casino owners, Tommy has made his mark in the blackjack world and is an original inductee into the Hall of Fame.

2004 and the Blackjack Ball brought Keith Taft to the Hall of Fame, complete with a photo album featuring a variety of gadgets and such that he invented to aid in the casino beating process, with his primary focus always on blackjack. Taft credits his son, Marty, for the two were an unbeatable team since Marty was a teenager.

Max Rubin is the author of “Comp City”, a publication aimed at beating the Blackjack tables of Las Vegas even without mastering the art of counting cards. Rubin is the other Hall of Fame’s inductee for 2004.

The 2005 Blackjack Ball brought with it two new inductees into the Blackjack Hall of Fame, one being Julian Brown, an IBM computer programmer became captivated with the mathematics involved in blackjack. In the 1960’s Brown wrote to Edward O. Thorp and requested a copy of the blackjack computer program. Since Brown had access to some of the fastest computers available, he worked diligently to produce an improved program, resulting in the creation of Hi-Opt blackjack and Hi-Lo strategies. Most of today’s blackjack experts have built upon the work of Julian Brown.

2005’s second inductee is none other that Lawrence Revere, a card shark and hustler who created a series of amazingly simple, color coded charts and such so that anyone could understand. Revere is considered to be the man who brought blackjack to the average player.

The professional hole-carder’s bible, “Beyond Counting”, was authored by none other than James Grosjean, thus sealing his fate as the 2006 Blackjack Hall of Fame inductee. Although every tactic used by Grosjean was legal at the time, he was ridiculed and arrested for his practices. In turn, he sued Caesars and Imperial Palace for wrongful arrest, as well as the Griffin Detective Agency, forcing them into bankruptcy, paving the way to stop libeling professional gamblers.

One of the best ways of foreseeing the future is to understand the human nature. Our needs, hopes, problems and dreams are often the basis for our future making. The nature of the human being is one of the most important ingredients in a complicated gambling business. Each of the parties – a casino and a gambler, long to win money from each other. And the growing strain will determine the future of the game.

Blackjack before 1962:

Before publication of the classic book ?Beat The Dealer? by Edward O. Thorp in 1962 no single player had ever suspected of such a thing as the Basic Strategy. Everyone used one’s own mixture of superstitions concerning the way in which one or the other hand had to play. Plus, some experience gained while playing at home in the kitchen. Excluding a small number of professional card-players who intuitively presupposed that their overbalance would be more if there were more bowers left in a pack, practically none won in blackjack. Naturally, casinos felt quite comfortable under such conditions. Till 1962 blackjack was not very popular, though percentagewise the profit rate was exclusively high.

The next decade: from 1962 till 1972:

After publication of the book by Thorp the situation changed radically. When the book mounted the peak of sales, became a bestseller, and the professor Thorp became an internationally famous personality, casinos were terrified that thus everyone could learn the system of Thorp and would start beating casinos winning huge amounts of money.

The results of this panic are well-known. The majority of casinos cardinally changed the blackjack rules creating even a larger overbalance in comparison with the previous set of rules. These introductions were effective a few weeks only as the majority of casinos? clients simply refused to play a game with such bad rules. Subordinating to the law of supply and demand casinos had to quickly restore traditional rules for all. After this gamblers started immediately to play again, more than that in considerably larger quantities.

The popularity of Thorp?s book played into the hands of casinos. Blackjack started to attract crowds of people who thought they could ?beat a dealer? only after they had read one book.

But the fact remained that casinos? visitors continued to lose the same amounts of money while playing blackjack as before. Only the number of gamblers increased a hundred times. The majority of those who had read the book simply didn?t understand the way the calculation of tens given in the book worked, and those who got to the bottom didn?t take enough pains so as to master the system of calculation from A to Z. Casinos observed in surprise the incredibly increased profits.

Reedition of the book in 1966 gave a reader a simpler calculation system. Over that period of time a number of books on blackjack were published. The game gathered pace. Casinos were setting more and more tables. Blackjack was becoming the most popular game in casinos having outrun the previous leader craps.

Blackjack of the 70s:

The classic book ?Playing Blackjack as a Business? by Lawrence Revere is responsible for further increase in popularity of the game in the 70s to a great extent. Revere published a shortened version of his systems at the beginning of 1969, but by 1972 already thousands of copies of the book were sold out. Revere republished an extended version of the book offering his simple and effective systems of the game which increased blackjack popularity even more.

Also the book ?Winning Blackjack? by Stanley Roberts, was in the right place at the right time, in addition the author appeared in a number of radio and TV-shows. Roberts invested a considerable amount of money into advertising of his book making a splash.

Casinos were once again overcome by the fit of paranoia. They started to suspect that the systems developed with the help of research methods could considerably influence their profits. Casinos started to introduce a multi-pack blackjack instead of a one-pack blackjack to struggle against the system game.

At the beginning of the 70s a lot of scientists, mathematicians, university professors and other ?intellectuals? started to write books about blackjack. Some of them developed their own cards? calculation systems. One of the most popular and effective systems – Hi-Opt I, was developed in 1974 with the help of computer programs created by Julian Brown with participation of an anonymous postgraduate of a large Canadian university.

A lot of professional gamblers transferred from the Revere system to the Hi-Opt I system because of the relative simplicity and effectiveness of the latter one. A lot of ordinary gamblers started to use the system together with the basic strategy. These two systems evidently made the biggest impact upon casinos? profits because of their use by professionals. Roberts’ systems were more often used by amateurs.

Kenneth Uston, teams and Great Horror:

Kenneth Uston noticed sometime at the end of 1976 that he was amazed by the way how effective the simplest systems of Hi-Opt I type could be. In Uston?s book ?Big Player?the way how Uston and his companions won together more than a million of dollars playing blackjack is described. Later on his teams transferred from very complicated systems to the simplest of Hi-Opt I type. Uston was thrown out of a few big casinos of Las Vegas, and he filed lawsuit against them for a total amount of 80 million dollars.

With the arrival of Uston the whole new era of blackjack began. Casinos were once again frightened that teams could win huge amounts of money in blackjack. Nearly at once some casinos did away with a one- and two-pack blackjack transferring to 4-, 6- and 8-pack ones. For an average gambler blackjack became too difficult. Plus, casinos started to cut most cards out of play – to two packs. As has been mentioned by Roberts in one of his articles, such practice was at the very least doubtful. By the way, the fact itself of availability of cards which didn?t enter the game caused new kinds of crooked gambling connected with withdrawal and addition of cards.

Casinos up to now change the number of packs and the extent of cutting, and compare levels of profits, thus balancing rules. In any case, rules are extremely difficult for gamblers in the USA, especially beginners.

The nightmare continues:

The funniest thing is that gamblers’ thoughts are not rigid. Uston?s teams were followed by Keith Taft with his pocket computer for blackjack which played better than any profs in the world. The court of Nevada State broke the record of the USA on the quickness of adoption of statute on use of computers in casinos. Up to five years with confiscation in the current situation, though Taft and his advocates were sure of the unconstitutionality of that law.

Forbade the computer? There appeared Tommy Hyland and his most complicated systems of tracking. A new headache for casinos? To worsen the cutting, introduce more packs and make the procedure of riffle even longer. To invent shuffle-machines!

Stanford Wong was the first to outwit these shuffle-machines. The most important thing was to know how they worked. Poor casinos didn?t know what to do. These machines cost rather a lot.

Perhaps new varieties would help? Spanish 21, Super-fan 21, 6:5 blackjack, ?Open? blackjack, Blackjack-switch, Pontoon? With every introduction there was one problem: either no one played it at all or profs immediately found the way to beat it. Tournaments? Old Wong created teams especially for tournament struggle. Every new rule was calculated and intensively looked into a week in advance. The development of the Internet caused quick information distribution.

Further on the whole pleiad of gamblers of the contemporary generation came on stage. Wong, Sneider, Anderson, Dogerty, Shlesinger and heaps of people who were occupied with theory and practical aspects of the game. Mathematical models of the game were worked out. Texts on Blackjack were published in scientific reviews.

Finally, up to the present moment a small number of professionals still win in blackjack. And will win in the future. Some profs transfer to more complicated systems which are plentiful (let?s say, Hi-Opt II was published as far back as 1976). New methods and techniques are being developed.

There is no doubt that it will get still more and more difficult to win in blackjack. However, there difficulties only make gambling wits work harder and harder. Right away new game systems are being worked out in many heads and at many computers of the world.

It is important to understand that gamblers always have a hope. They can change games. They can finally read a textbook on the theory of probability. They can read the same books themselves. They can spend even more money on the newest technologies. However, I assure You, there will always be a way to beat them.

Have you become tired of the daily grind? Fed up with low wages and dead-end jobs? Are you ready to change your fortunes with a new career amid the lights and glitter? Then working for a traditional casino, Native American casino or one of the online casinos may be just the thing for you!
Imagine yourself as a high stakes casino blackjack or poker dealer, flipping cards to the rich and famous. Or perhaps you prefer to work behind the scenes as a casino pit clerk, cage cashier, slot technician, or casino surveillance officer. Those are only a few of the hundreds of entry-level casino and gaming related jobs available to you. With new casinos opening every year both in the United States and abroad, the opportunities are nearly endless.
Being a Casino game dealer can be fun, challenging, and lucrative. Many dealers find roulette to be one of the more interesting games to deal. Although it is a bit repetitive like blackjack, there are different things roulette dealers do. In blackjack it’s constantly dealing and counting the cards, and paying or taking money. In roulette dealers pick up chips, spin the ball, and move chips around on the layout. But the tips are a little bit less at roulette. Bettors tend to wager less money on roulette than on blackjack, and they tend to tip in proportion to what they are playing.
What is the most challenging part about roulette for dealers? Definitely the totaling of bets because there are so many combinations to figure out. Sometimes the math can get a bit hard. But you get used to it after a while. You’ll be able to look at the layout and know how much to pay without even thinking about it. And you have to be very diligent about watching the entire roulette table, especially when it becomes crowded. Manual dexterity also comes into play as a roulette dealer. When you are working out of a tray on the blackjack table, you just take the chips out to pay the players or pick up bets. But in roulette you have stacks and stacks of chips to slide across the table to the players. That’s why dealers receive a lot of breaks. Not only is there constant repetitive motion in roulette, but it also requires constant mental concentration in order to keep it all together.
After several years of dealing, one can expect to climb their way up the ladder. In a casino, the usual hierarchy goes dealer, floor supervisor, pit administrative boss or supervisor, assistant shift manager, shift manager, and finally, casino manager. As an assistant shift manager, you usually help shift manager with whatever tasks needed that day. On the regular shift manager’s days off the assistant operates as the shift manager. As such, they are basically in charge of the entire casino during that particular shift. The gaming industry is definitely a service industry now and their main desire is for people to have fun. They make sure that the customers are having a good time. But their main responsibility is still to watch the money and to ensure that everything is on the up and up.
Management can be a stressful job. Some days you come in and nothing goes wrong. However, there are some days that the phone starts ringing and suddenly there are a million things to do. This person checks in, that person wants more credit, this one has won a lot, and that person is mad because he has lost too much. So anything can come up. Managers are generally on the casino in order to be visible and make themselves readily available if someone needs them. And it does become bewildering at times to see people blow an enormous amount of money. So you can get jaded after a while. But it’s important to remember it’s not you who is taking the money, it’s the game. You can’t take it personally. You learn to realize you have no control. All the odds are built in.
The industry has changed a lot. The dealers did not have a lot of say in the old days. You made good money so you weren’t going to talk back. It is more of a guest-service industry now. For the dealer it’s no longer, “Hey, you [the customer] want to gamble, I don’t have to be nice,” and for the player it’s no longer, “I have all this money so I can call you [the dealer] whatever I want. ” The whole industry has become a more pleasant place in which to work. You meet many wonderful people, fellow employees as well as customers. Dealers also enjoy the games, and of course, the money they earn.
More casinos are going corporate whereas they used to be privately owned. Corporations offer better benefits and more vacation time. The industry just keeps growing. Workers also noticed that it didn’t used to be hard to move from city to city but now it seems much more difficult after the industry opened up all over the country. Many would probably not be able to go into a Strip casino in Las Vegas and still be an assistant shift supervisor without losing their position. It still is pretty simple moving from property to property within the same area, though.
The most challenging part of the casino experience has to be learning to deal with all the personalities of the other employees. There aren’t many women in this field, so workplace dynamics can be difficult for them to fit into.
Most of the craps dealers are men, the roulette dealers are women, and blackjack gets a mixture of both. Management is still mostly men, but figures are always changing. Anyone interested in this industry should just go for it. The stress level of working in a casino is there but some days are better than others, as with any job. It’s also a great career if you have children or if you are going to school because you can work almost any hours to fit into your schedule. Many experienced dealers suggest that new dealers start out with blackjack since it is one of the more basic and easier of the games to deal.
You can get the fundamentals down with blackjack, then when you move to more complicated games you will already understand security procedures, such as how to make sure no one is cheating the house and how to show your employers that you are not cheating them. You’ll be able to focus more on the dealing itself. No dealer is expected to learn all the games, but they are somewhat more valuable when they can.

When playing, look after a table with happy players and a friendly dealer, in order to enjoy your blackjack game. Also, think positively to keep an emotional balance and to take maximum advantage of your blackjack skills.

The casino blackjack varies, but the most known forms of it are the classic blackjack and the blackjack tournament. The difference between the two is that the first is a game between the player and the dealer and the second one is a game of competing against other players instead of just playing against the house.

Although their increasing popularity in the last years, blackjack tournaments are not so easy and keenly to organize. The main problem is one of the spaces for holding these types of tournaments because it?s hard to reserve tables for a large tournament when most casinos offer only a few blackjack tables.

However, the blackjack is an exciting game no matter if it is played as classic blackjack or tournament or if it is played on land or online.

The object of the classic blackjack is to obtain a blackjack hand in order to beat the dealer. The value of the hand, more exactly the value of the first two cards, must be closer to 21 than that of the dealer, without going over 21. The classic form is at some points inflexible, the players don?t interact between them and they are only playing with the house.

On the other hand, blackjack tournament is a variation in which the players struggle with each other. The object in this case is to collect in the end more chips than the fellows. The most known types of tournament are single table and multi table. The difference consists in the number of the tables involved in the same blackjack game and as a consequence in fact that a player has to compete against all of the players at all of the other tables.

Keep in mind that you are not a winner until your ranking is better relative to the other players. Also, participants in the blackjack tournament usually have a limited time or a predetermined number of hands to play and a certain amount of money to bet.

The tournament implies more action and more hazard as it requires multiple qualifying rounds. You have to learn to put in balance the risk and rewards and take the most suitable decision in order to get full value of every bet. There are people who place small bets constantly to reduce the risk of being eliminate or ruined at the table game. Other players put large bets in their attempt to get reach faster, but they rarely succeed. In the case of a tournament is hard to tell which of these strategies to adopt and also the blackjack basic strategy of counting the cards is not so proper to use.

But there is something else you can do. You can put small bets and observe the opportunities to place large bets. It may happen that most of the players to put small bet and to be a perfect moment for you to make a large bet. It depends how you see the others: if they are timid or daring. And here comes one of the blackjack tips: you can increase the bets in the middle hand if you feel you have chances to win.

So, enjoy a blackjack tournament in live casino or online casino. The tournament on land are usually held in classy resorts which offer services like swimming, sunbathing, massage and other relaxing and entertaining methods.

Online blackjack tournaments are similar to those on land. The difference is they are less competitive, but give to more players the opportunity to win and also not disqualify players at the end of each round of gaming as is the case of casino tournaments.

Choose the suitable form of blackjack for you, relax and have fun!

To win blackjack consistently you need more than the understanding of blackjack rules, you need a black strategy that will show you how to completely dominate the house on a regular basis. Without the proper blackjack strategies in place you will be setting yourself up for a disaster. In order to consistently beat casino after casino, you need to have a blackjack cheat sheet. A blackjack sheet will show you win to HIT, STAND, DOUBLE DOWN, etc. . . based on what the dealer is showing and the value in your hand. If you don’t know the black jack rules, they are very simple. The basic blackjack strategy and rules to follow is getting yourself as close as you can to 21 without busting or going over and beating the dealer’s hand. The dealer has a natural advantage over other players at the blackjack table because they get to see if you as a player BUSTS or not. If you bust the house automatically wins and you lose. It’s the worst feeling in the world busting and allowing the dealer to win the hand without them having to take another card!If you follow a great blackjack system, there should be no reason why you are busting that often. There is a blackjack cheat sheet in place for these types of situations where it could go as a hold, stand, or hit. If you follow these simple black jack rules you should have no reason making a stable income playing blackjack online or in person. Before you nose dive into playing online blackjack or live casino blackjack, you need to play free blackjack. You can find blackjack for free just about everywhere you turn on the internet. A simple google search will find you plenty of free casino sites to play blackjack on. The great thing about blackjack is that you can gain experience over the house playing for FREE. This is the only type of gambling game that lets you gain as much experience as you need completely free. Once you find a blackjack system that works for you than at that point in time you can move into playing blackjack online or in person for real money. Blackjack is the only gambling game where you can gain as much experience as you want completely free, unlike online poker where you HAVE to play for real money to gain experience. You can’t play online poker for free because the poker players at play money games will go all in with any hand that they see. With blackjack you are playing against the house as you would for real money. There is no difference in the type of game or competition based on money. Consistently earning a stable income playing blackjack online is one of the best feelings in the world. I have quit my day job and only play blackjack online to earn a stable income. Recently I just broke the 100k a year mark and you can too!

Blackjack is a game where you play against the dealer with other people around you sitting at the same table playing against the dealer also. You are NOT playing against the other people sitting around you. The object of blackjack is to try and get as close as you can to 21 or 21 without going over. Blackjack rules will be critical to your success so you will need to learn as many as you can. There are different variations to blackjack such as strip blackjack, samsung blackjack ii, samsung blackjack, etc. . . The only profitable blackjack game you can play is the standard blackjack games that are in every single casino and online. To be a successful blackjack player you need to develop a winning blackjack strategy and stick to that strategy forever. Some people use card counting as a blackjack strategy such as the card counting mit group. I am not a big card counting fan, I think that should be for roulette systems. In blackjack before they implanted using multiple card decks, card counting definitely worked. The only time card counting will work is single deck blackjack games. These are usually played in the comfort of your own home amongst friends. You can’t really find one of these games in a casino. Most casinos only allow 4 decks or more blackjack games with automatic shufflers making card counting pretty much impossible. So if you bought some kind of card counting strategies, I am sorry but you definitely wasted your time and your money. The only proven blackjack strategies are ones using the blackjack strategy chart along mixed in with a winning system. How to play blackjack is a burning question many advent blackjack players want to know. More especially they want to know how to play blackjack and make a CONSISTENT WINNING playing. Again, the best blackjack tips I could ever give you is to stay clear of card counting strategies and pick up a copy of a free blackjack strategy guaranteed to dominate the house. You will be bringing down the house in no time. Eventually you will be winning so much casinos will think you are cheating! Sounds a little farfetched but it happened to me back in 1992. The casino was keeping a close eye on me at the blackjack table and even took me into a small room and questioned me. They told me they have never seen anyone win as much as I was doing. At one point I won 24 hands in a row, setting a record at that time which is still held today by me in that same casino. It is an amazing feeling constantly beating the house. The house is designed to have a 5% better chance than you winning EVERY SINGLE TIME. I don’t know about you, but that’s not fair. Using proven strategies you will eliminate the houses edge and you will actually have a 95% to 5% chance of crushing the HOUSE consistently! I wish you the best in your blackjack career!

The thought of winning that life changing jackpot has meant that every Tom, Dick and Harry are trying their hand at inventing blackjack systems ? unfortunately very few of these betting systems work, and as a result, are a waste of time and money! What about card counting? For years now, the traditional advice many professional blackjack players give for gaining an advantage over the casinos was to count cards and increase your bet when the point count was in your advantage. Conversely, times have changed as the use of multiple decks and shuffling machines have been introduced, and as a result counting cards is nearly impossible. It?s advised that players don?t waste their time and money using this type of blackjack strategy, as they will only lose. If card counting systems are no good, how exactly do you win at blackjack? The best advice is to pick up a basic blackjack strategy card chart will allow you to know exactly when it is best to HIT, STAND, DOUBLE DOWN, etc. . . This will give you an edge over the house, if only marginal. Once this chart has been memorised the house will never have a 55% to 45% edge on you again. If you have no black jack strategy in place, the house has a 55%-45% edge over the player as they act last and before it?s their turn, the player could have already busted out which means the house automatically wins. Are their any tips or strategies that can help? Before you spend another penny in any real life or online casino blackjack game, you need to play blackjack online for free until you get a real grasp of the game, its rules and regulations. A great site which hosts a free blackjack game is www. expertblackjack. co. uk, they also give a great overview of the online blackjack market and its competitors. To further your blackjack career, it?s imperative you memorise a blackjack strategy chart showing you exactly what to do with any hand you are dealt. This information will be essential during your blackjack career. What shall I steer clear of? Counting cards in blackjack is definitely not the route you should take. You are guaranteed to fail and it will end up costing you thousands and thousands of pounds. With so many decks and so many cards still out there, counting cards isn’t an option anymore in today’s blackjack world, especially the online world. Don’t waste your money on card counting software as this is just another way in which people are fleecing the unaware consumer as they are worthless. ??What?s the best advice you can give blackjack novice? Learn the blackjack rules thoroughly as well as a few basic blackjack strategies. Once you know the before mentioned info you will be on the road to riches in no time. Is it better to play in real life or online? Commonly people believe that online blackjack is rigged. That is NOT the case. It is good practice to play blackjack on multiple casinos though because it doesn’t allow the dealer to catch winning streaks. Playing both online and real life blackjack will help you fine tune your technique and eventually play a better game. Where is the best place to play online blackjack? There are many great blackjack providers out there, deciding on which is the best for you depends on what you are looking for? Large jackpots, promotions, graphics, game speed etc. . all play a part, for the best online casinos check out the in depth reviews at www. expertblackjack. co. uk.

When you play casino games, the house has the advantage. When it comes to Blackjack, the returns to the players are greater than for any other casino game, but the house still has the advantage. Can you enjoy the game and beat the odds? You can beat the odds short-term, but for as long as the odds are against you, in the long run the advantage of the house will prevail. The trick is therefore not to beat the odds, but to make sure the odds are in your favor. So, how can you turn the odds in your favor? Unfortunately, when you are playing online, card-counting is utterly useless. Even if you happen to have photographic memory, it will not help you one bit. Why? Because with online casinos, card shuffling is done after every round, re-setting the odds. Does it mean that you should avoid online casinos and only play in land-based ones? No, quite the contrary. Playing online can give you the advantage you can never get otherwise. Let me explain. Like everyone else, casinos are in a competitive business too. To attract players casinos strive to provide better experience, more entertainment and greater perks. In land-based casinos playing for big money often means free accommodation, meals and drinks. Online casinos have somewhat limited choices compared to land-based ones. It is impossible to provide live entertainment, accommodation, meals and drinks. So, how do online casinos attract players? Apart from improving the software to give you a better playing experience, online casinos typically offer: A sign-up/welcome bonus, to get you to start playing, andOn-going bonuses, to get you to keep playing. When you take these perks into consideration, the odds change in your favor. Let’s do the math, and to make the calculation simpler we’ll ignore the on-going bonuses for the moment. When you learn the basic strategy, the odds for the casino are less than 1%. We’ll work with 0. 69% on the assumption that 8 decks are used. As for the sign-up/welcome bonus, no casino will allow you to just take it and cash it out immediately. Normally you have to place bets up to a certain value before you are allowed to take the cash out. For the sake of giving you an example, here are our starting values (the actual figures will vary from one casino to another): The House Advantage of 0. 69%The sign-up/welcome bonus of $100, andYou have to place the bets of at least $10,000 before you can draw the cash out. If you play with the individual bets of $10, you’ll be placing the total of 1,000 bets to arrive to the value of $10,000, which means you get to enjoy the game for quite a while – and with the house advantage of 0. 69%, the casino stands to win $69 of your money. Take $69 you lost from the sign-up bonus of $100, and you actually win $31! Why would the casinos allow anyone to play with the odds better for the player than for the casino? Because: They need to attract playersThanks to the poor decision-making on the side of the players casinos actually win 4% to 5% instead of 0. 69%, andThe number of players taking the advantage of better odds is still relatively small. With this in mind, here is how to win at Blackjack: – Learn the basic strategy It takes very little time to learn it, and ensures your betting decisions give you the best odds. Do not rely on the “gut feeling” or “intuition”. – Do not play tired or under the influence of drugs or alcohol This is when mistakes happen. – Choose a reputable online casino This is an absolute must because cheating with online software is easy. As a minimum, make sure it is not on the list of casinos to avoid. Also, some certifying authorities are not to be trusted – make sure your casino is not using one of them. Finally, avoid all casinos using the software that gives them unfair advantage. – Calculate the odds When you’ve selected the online casino to play, read the rules, terms and conditions – and calculate the odds of winning. Use the example above as the guide, and apply the factors that influence the house advantage. – Play and enjoy!

The good news is that playing blackjack like a pro is something any player can master.
You can learn everything about playing blackjack successfully.
Fact is that blackjack is a casino game where with proper play you can put the odds in your favour over the long term and emerge a winner.
To play blackjack like a pro does however require work, effort, and practice.
So, do you have what it takes to play like a pro and win big? Read on and find out:
1. The Mindset of Winning Players
If you read about successful blackjack players, you will in many instances, be struck from the outset by their desire to win.
Winning players tend to have started with the mindset, that if you think you can win then you are going to win, and you WILL win. This is the attitude you need as well.
2. Knowledge
Firstly, you need to start with the basics and this involves learning all you can about the game.
You wouldn’t try to drive a car without lessons and neither should you play Blackjack without knowledge of the basics. By the basics, we mean a through knowledge of basic strategy and a card counting system.
Basic strategy lets you play almost even with the casino, but it is card counting that will put the odds in your favour over the long term.
3. Card Counting Systems – Which One is Best for You?
It is your skill at card counting that will ultimately determine how successful you are.
There is a choice of many systems. Some are simple systems, some are highly complicated, but whichever system you choose make sure you can execute it without errors.
It is a fact that a simple system executed correctly, is better than a complicated one where you may make mistakes.
One or two mistakes can be costly and wipe out your edge. Experiment, read books, try different strategies, and find one with which you are comfortable.
4. Manage Your Bankroll Correctly
You need to decide what your bankroll is going to be and play at a level that will enable you to ride out losing periods.
You also need to vary your bet size. This is one of the most important keys to playing blackjack like a pro – having the courage to bet big when the odds are in your favour.
5. Play at Casinos that Offer the Most Favourable Rules
Not all casinos are the same; some casinos give you a better chance of winning with their rules than other casinos do.
Seek out the most favourable rules to maximise your odds of winning and your bankroll.
6. Play in a Disciplined Fashion
Successful blackjack players are cool and calm and play with discipline.
Successful players don’t get excited about profits and don’t get depressed over losses.
Blackjack players understand that winning is a marathon not a sprint. They stick to their plan through losses, are never tempted to chase them and don’t bet rashly when they have made profits.
Have You Got What it takes to Play Blackjack like a Pro?
We have given you some simple pointers to help you play blackjack like a pro.
Winning at blackjack, like many things in life, requires a desire to succeed, knowledge, practice and the discipline to execute a plan.
If you have all of these traits, you could soon be playing blackjack like a pro and winning big time!

Card counting can put the odds in the favor of the blackjack player, but it has limitations and is not the “holy grail” that many blackjack players believe.
It is a belief that has seen several blackjack card counting myths emerge that cause many players to lose. Here are some of the more frequent ones.
Myth 1: A Complicated Strategy Will Be More Successful
A card counting system can be complicated or it can be simple, it depends on the system.
The fact the system is complicated does NOT guarantee it will be more successful than a simple one. In fact, you can learn a simple card counting strategy that has better results than many of the more complicated ones in just 5 minutes!
Reality: There is no correlation between complexity of card counting systems and profitability. It is the logic that the system is based upon which is important.
Myth 2: Card Counting Can Predict the Sequence of Cards
Card counting in blackjack does not allow players to “predict” the sequence of cards that come out of the deck.
In reality, it is impossible to “detect” the sequence of the remaining cards. The number of different sequences is huge and impossible to predict.
Card counting therefore, does NOT allow a player to foresee with certainty what card will be dealt out of the deck next.
Reality: Card counting is not a predictive theory. It is simply a probability theory that will put the odds in your favor over the long term. Short-term results can of course vary dramatically.
Myth 3: You Don’t Need Much Money to Win
Once a player has learned how to count cards in blackjack and successfully learned how to apply these skills, they very often feel invincible.
When playing at the table they feel that they won’t need much money due to the skills that they have learned.
The fact is, even though a player may have a positive edge in a game that does NOT mean the player is guaranteed to make profits all the time.
Losing streaks occur for all successful players and you need an adequate bankroll to ride them.
Reality: The 0. 5% – 1. 5% expectation that you can achieve in blackjack, (percentage of each bet you expect on average to win), is not enough to get you a winning edge consistently. In the short term, you need to prepare for losing runs.
The Reality of Card Counting & Some Tips to Win
If you have understood the above, you will see that card counting is NOT a predictive theory – it is a probability theory.
Once you understand this, you will realize that it can give you an edge in the longer term, but in the shorter term, you can, and will have losing streaks.
By knowing this, you will be able to prepare yourself for the inevitable losing periods with an adequate bankroll.
You also need to pick a system that you feel confident in using.
As we have said, you don’t need a complicated strategy – you can learn a simple one in JUST 5 MINUTES!

If you are the kind of player that enjoys games with rules that are easy to learn, but difficult to master, then Blackjack is certainly your kind of game. While the rules are very quickly learned, there are many influences that a player must understand before achieving any type of proficiency with this timeless classic.

Fortunately Real Time Gaming’s gaming software very closely mimics traditional card play so well that all viable Blackjack strategies will work equally well in Real Time Gaming. This is very important before a player decides to start playing in the online casino environment.

The first item that you must understand is that the odds in Blackjack favor the house. For example, it’s not uncommon for both the dealer and the player to go over twenty-one, or “bust. ” If this happens to you will lose your wager.

Another commonly misunderstood bet is the “insurance” bet. This is a side bet that you can make outside the typical wager. This bet comes in to play when the dealer is showing an Ace card face up (players are dealt two cards, initially, with one of the cards being placed face up and the other face down). An insurance bet can then be made. This is a bet that if the dealer has a ten card, and ends up getting a Blackjack, the player will lose their initial wager, but if they made the insurance bet they win that bet. The insurance bet pays two to one and the player breaks even. For many this might sound like a good bet to make but as a player you must realize the likelihood of a dealer getting Blackjack, which is very unlikely with the first two cards. It is typically regarded as somewhat of a fool’s bet, but to novice players appears to be sound thinking. Some experts have even gone so far as to say that this bet should never be made unless a player is counting the cards. Many casinos regard card counting as cheating and a player should never engage in any activity that would be considered unethical.

Another Blackjack strategy that might have you confused is that of “doubling down. ” The art of doubling down is a viable strategy and one that must be understood prior to doing it in actual game play. A player is allowed to double down on two cards and increase their initial wager by two. For example, if a player is dealt a six card and a five card, a total of eleven, that player can choose to double down. The dealer will then allow you to increase your bet and then deal you one more card. If you are dealt a ten card at this point you have proven yourself very wise.

These are just a few things to consider before getting too far into Blackjack. Blackjack’s simplicity can be very deceiving and you should learn all you can.

A process that required Blackjack expert group hundreds of hours to perfect is from top to bottom specified in the piece of writing that will follow. Within around 60 minutes you will be able to learn the basic tactics required to participate in 21blackjack and upsurge your odds against the house. If you are steady with your webblackjack play you have a good chance of exiting with some of the houses money. You can become a winner in Las Vegas. Here are a number of instructions you can take advantage of if playing b-jack: If the sum up of your game cards is 9 or lower you should hit (ask for an extra game-card). If you`ve got ten or eleven, you would be wise to double down, double your wager, only when your total is stronger than the card-dealer`s upcard, if it is not than hit. For instance, you are holding 10 and the dealer is holding an eight, double down. You have got 10 while the dealer is showing a ten as well, just hit. If you have got 12 thru 16, hit when the dealer`s upcard is 7 and stronger, stand if the card-dealer is presenting any card smaller than a 7. When you`re holding seventeen and higher, stand. If you`re holding a soft thirteen thru eighteen, Double down while the card dealer`s up-card is 5 or six. Soft 17 or smaller (an ace & a six create a soft 17), hit. Soft nineteen – stand. Always split a pair of aces or 8s. Splitting means making a couple of new hands from your initial hand. Every game-card of the primary hand is the first game-card within each one of the novel hands. Do not split fours, fives or tens. Split all additional pairs when card dealer`s up-card is lower than 6. Never take insurance. If the first game-card given to the card-dealer within a bj-21 round is an ace card, the card-dealer will declare “Insurance”. You may then place an insurance stake of not more than 50 percent of your original stake, to insure your hand should the card-dealer get a Blackjack. An insurance gamble is paid with payoffs of two to one and would only victor if the house makes Blackjack. If the card dealer does not make Blackjack the insurance bet is lost. . Underneath are the 3 uttermost important tips for a bj participant. Make sure to learn them! Remain consistent during the entire blac-jack match. Check out the other internetblackjack players; do not participate at a bj game table where a gambler undoubtedly plays irresponsibly. When you`re doing well you need to place the considerable wager, if you`re not doing well you should be enduring. bj regurlarly requires nerves of steel. While learn advance ourselves. So, the learning you have acquired from this internet black jack tips article has by now helped you more than you think.

Guide to playing blackjack for fun and for profitPlaying Blackjack is great fun, for anybody who has played it, you know it can be quite enjoyable and easy enough to learn and play. For those who have not, it’s easy enough to learn at Online casinos, where you can practice for free until you’re ready to play. This article will walk you through a few hands of blackjack so you can see just how easy it is. Online casinos allow you to play blackjack, also known as 21, any time you so desire. I had never been to an online casino before, but recently tried it, playing my favorite game against an online dealer, and I found it to be the same exact game I know and love when I go to regular casinos. I did okay win-loss wise at the online casino, but had a lot of fun regardless. Blackjack dealers at online casinos have to follow the same house rules that regular dealers do, meaning they have to take a hit on 16 or stand on 17, and also online dealers get the house advantage, meaning they win in the event of any tie. The rules to blackjack are fairly simple, whether you’re playing at an online casino from a computer or wireless device, or standing in a casino in the hot desert sands of Las Vegas. You start out with two cards, one face down, one face up, so everybody playing knows one card that you have. This is important, because that one exposed card your opponent is showing can help to tell you what you need to do. You may stay pat, or stand, or take cards until you’re satisfied with your hand, this is called taking a hit. You want to add the values of the cards together and get 21 or as close to it as you can. The values are easy to discern, 2 through 9 equal their inherent value, face cards equal 10, and an ace can be either 1 or 11 depending on what you want. If you’re dealt a 21, a face card or a ten and an ace, you win automatically, unless the dealer is dealt 21, then because of house rules, the dealer wins the tie. If you go over 21 you bust, and this means you automatically lose, game over. Simple enough, right?I’ll walk you through a few hands of blackjack from my online casino experience and you’ll see how easy a game it really is. My first hand, the dealer had a 2 of hearts showing. I had a 8 of clubs. My hidden card was an ace of diamonds. This gave me an aggregate score of either 9 or 19. 19 is a pretty good hand, only a tie, 20 or 21 would beat it. I hit stand. The dealer took a hit. He drew a 7 of spades. Since the highest hand it could possibly have was 13, I knew it would take at least a card. It stood after taking 1 card. This meant that it had at least 17. When we exposed our hands the dealer had a jack of clubs. We each had 19. The house rules stipulate that a tie goes to the house. The dealer won. The next hand I was dealt a King of spades and an ace of hearts. 21! Blackjack meant I won unless the dealer also had an aggregate score of 21. I hit the button and won with my blackjack. It doesn’t happen all the time but it sure is nice and easy when it does. I’ll personally take all the easy money I can get. The third hand I showed a 4 of diamonds and had a 9 of spades. The dealer showed a king of hearts. I had options here which I’ll explain. I could stand even though I only had a 13 in my hand. Why would I do that? There are a lot of face cards out there. A ten means I’d bust, or go over 21 and automatically lose. By standing, if the dealer has a 6 or less, they must take a hit and they could bust. However, there was a distinct possibility that the dealer had a 7 or better, meaning they would have to stand and would automatically win. Since the odds seemed to me to be in the favor of the dealer having a 7 or better, since over 60% of the cards are a 7 or better, I decided to take my chance and take a hit. I drew a 6 of spades. This gave me a hand of 19. The dealer stood and showed a 7 of diamonds. He held a 17. The house rules, which helped the dealer in game 1 when we tied, now, hurt the dealer in the third game. The dealer had been forced to stand pat on 17 which allowed me to win. I was up two games to one. I ended up playing about a dozen hands and won three more than I lost6. Not only did I have fun but I won a little bit of money as well. I like pastimes that put some dinero in your pocket. I wish online bowling or online solitaire or online golf did the same thing but they don’t. To win money on the Internet, you simply have to go to an online casino. Blackjack isn’t the only game you can win money with. Other fun online casino games like baccarat and roulette or keno and virtual slots are fun as well. Some games pay out smaller than others and some games rely more on strategy than luck. Some games have higher odds and require more luck than strategy, but the payouts are more often than not higher. As with anything in life, the higher the risk the higher the reward. Either way, you can’t win if you don’t play. As you can see, winning at blackjack in an online casino is a cakewalk! Now that you know how to play, you can see for yourself.
